Red-Eyed Tree Frog Quilt

Happi wants me to make a cute quilt like this for him. It features a red-eyed tree frog (Agalychnis callidryas). In the wild, this frog's green coloring helps it to blend in with the tree leaves around it. This keeps it hidden from both the insects it eats and the predators that hunt it.  Red-eyed tree frogs are nocturnal so they are active at night and rest in the daytime. When one of these tree frogs sits still on a green leaf, legs tucked in and eyes shut, it is nearly invisible.

The quilt pictured was created by Jane Knapp of Iowa. The frog is colored permanent dry Inktense pencils. Jane explains further how she created the design on The Quilter's Message Board.  ,,,/\_(Ф~◦ ◦~Ф)_/\,,,
